SentryX is a clinical stage pharmaceutical company based at Utrecht Science Park. We develop implantable anesthetics, a gamechanger in pain treatment after major surgery. We are a scale up company consisting of a growing team of approximately 25 people. We are enthusiastic and very motivated by a common drive and goal to get our product to the patient.

We look for a dedicated team player that is open to learn on the job and can advance the development of our product by executing experiments in the lab.

About the position

As a Product Development Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the development and optimization of production processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and optimising key process parameters that impact product quality.
• Assisting in scaling up lab-based processes to pilot production scale.
• Supporting the qualification and maintenance of our pilot-scale manufacturing line.
• Set up, executing and analyse experiments on lab scale and pilot-scale equipment.
• Contributing to project meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Provide input and working with external partners to design custom equipment that.

About you

As Product Development Technician, each day brings its new challenges and opportunities. The experiments you conduct are crucial in shaping the future of the product, affecting key decisions in its development. Therefore, we are looking for a person that is honest, accurate, clean, and organized. You are enthusiastic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with a wide variety of topics. You don’t mind getting your hands dirty and spending time in the lab, working on your experiments. You take initiative, whether working independently or within a small, cooperative team. You are efficient, open to inputs and a good communicator.

Background

You have a Bachelor (HBO/HLO) or Master’s degree in chemistry, pharmacy, material science or similar and have affinity with manufacturing and engineering.

Professional proficiency in English is required. We only consider candidates who live in the Netherlands.
