SentryX is a clinical stage biotech company based at Utrecht Science Park. We develop a local non-opioid solution for pain treatment after musculoskeletal surgery. We are a scale up company consisting of a growing team of approximately 25 people. We are enthusiastic and very motivated by a common drive and goal to get our product to the market. We now look for an accurate and meticulous operator to perform routine manufacturing of our starting materials.

About the position

As a manufacturing operator you will run the routine production of starting materials, which are critical for the manufacturing of the final drug product. You must follow protocols and controlled documents and adhere to the organization’s quality and safety standards. You report to the Manager Manufacturing. Our operations run during office hours (no shifts).

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Perform the routine manufacturing of starting materials.

• Adherence to the safety and quality systems of SentryX.

• Complete batch records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.

• Support the development and continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes.

About you

You are comfortable performing routine work and following protocols. You are accurate, meticulous and organized, and you like to work in a lab environment. You have a can-do mentality and assess yourself as a team player and someone that fits a growing and learning organization.

You need a working and thinking level, equivalent to the Dutch MBO3 level. MBO courses like ‘Allround Laborant’ and ‘Chemisch-fysisch Analist’ will be helpful to give you a great start in the position. Also ‘Operator’ courses give you a head start. You either have some years of working experience or are in your early career stage.

Professional proficiency in English is required. We look for candidates who live in the Netherlands.
